Owner and principal event photographer Stephen Gaard began his career studying traditional 35mm film-based photography over 20 years ago in Boston, Massachusetts. Keeping step with the current changes and advancements in digital based photography, Mr. Gaard has upgraded all film-based equipment to a fully digital outfit.

The advantages of shooting an event digitally are very difficult to dispute. Instant client gratification due to onsite viewing, extremely fast turnaround from shooting to printing (many clients choose to offer the entire event shoot to their guests on CD-ROM or DVD) and client ownership of all images from the event (no more proofs and then ordering prints) are just some of the obvious advantages of shooting an event digitally.
